I was welcomed by a very lively October :)
Afternoon of Friday, October 1, 2010, I, together with Mark Monta, Jarlou Valenzuela, Miki Amper, and another CBS member (forgot his name, will edit this part later :D) went for another adventure most people would surely envy. Mark was invited by Ms. Elaine Nemenzo, Officer for Marketing & Communications of Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort for a food blog featuring their superb cuisines. Jarlou and I, being an apprentice blogger was tagged along by Mark.
Now for a little info about Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort:

A rustic resort for travelers interested in convenience, relaxation and plenty of leisure activities. Guests enjoy en-suite private verandas, king sized beds, living rooms, mini bars, televisions and hammocks. Deciding what to eat and drink may prove to be a difficult task as there are five restaurants and three bars to choose from. Sample international and local cuisines or light snacks from the Spa CafĂ© Juice Bar. Reserve a full day of pampering at the Maribago Blue Water Beach Resort’s Amama Spa as there is an extensive list of treatments and therapies. For the water sports enthusiasts, be sure to sign up for jet skiing and scuba diving but drop the children off at the Dolpo Kids Club firsts. The banquet and function rooms are equipped to host corporate functions and even wedding receptions.

I was really fascinated by the time we arrived at SM Mall. A van was already waiting to take us to Maribago. The driver was even holding a paper which says "Media Blogger". Without further ado, the trip started and while traveling, Mark introduced Miki to us. As we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Ms. Elaine and the staff, giving us the comfortable feeling. The place was really great, it gives me the feeling of what a beach resort should be. The food was really really great (even though I had a culture shock -- forks and knives!! :D), and most of all, ALL THE STAFF AND EMPLOYEES ARE REALLY HOSPITABLE, just like what a Filipino should be. I'm proud of you guys :) We went for a stroll around the beach afterward. The Maribago experience is one of a kind. It was really a relaxing and a delicious Friday, a good way to end the weekdays.
Thank you so much Mark Monta for bringing us there! :D
